Overview: A custom, one-off, 18k gold fashion ring to hold two of Jayne's diamonds.

Metal
The entire ring is cast in 18k yellow gold.
Gemstones
This ring is designed around two natural round brilliant cut diamonds.
One is 3.7mm and weighs 1/5ct.
One is 2.7mm and wieghs 1/10ct.
Both diamonds are set in a channel design with under-bezels for support.
The three bands were cast as a single piece, and each is surfaced with a high polish finish.
Setting

Custom Creations
The design was created in CAD (computer aided design) using Matrix Gold. Matrix is a parametric based program specifically used for jewelry. A 3D resin model was printed, and from that a mold was created for casting using a "lost wax process", named for the fact that the resin model in burned away to create the mold. This is a one-off piece that will never be recreated except by client request.
