Gemstones
The center gem is a natural marquise cut amethyst. It is a specialty cut with a checkerboard faceted table. It measures 11.74 x 5.89 x 3.79mm and weights 1.33ct.
There are 41 round cut 1.25mm natural amethysts weighing .33ct total. AA quality.
There are 10 round cut 1.3mm lab grown diamonds weighing .10ct total. Graded F/G in color and Vs in clarity.
The center gem is held with 'V' prongs on each end and 4 traditional side prongs.
Each amethyst and diamond are surface set with a shared prong design.

Custom Creations
The design was created in CAD (computer aided design) using Matrix Gold. Matrix is a parametric based program specifically used for jewelry. A 3D resin model was printed, and from that a mold was created for casting using a "lost wax process", named for the fact that the resin model in burned away to create the mold. This is a one-off piece that will never be recreated except by client request.
